I can’t deny my undying love for Tacos. It’s my go to comfort food and this version is all you need to be in Mexican Taco heaven.
1 quantity of home made Chilli
12 Taco shells
2 ripe avocados
2 whole limes
Salt and white pepper
250g finely grated cheddar cheese
250ml soured cream
Half an iceberg lettuce, finely shredded
Make the chilli and keep warm.
Slice the avocado in half and remove the stone, scoop out the flesh into a mixing bowl and squeeze over the juice of 1 lime. Season with salt and white pepper and mix well with a fork to a semi-smooth guacamole.
Place the soured cream into a mixing bowl and squeeze over the juice of 1 lime, season with salt and white pepper. Set aside.
Heat the tacos in the oven for 4-5 minutes until warm.
Serve the tacos with the chilli, guacamole, soured cream, cheese, lettuce and tabasco sauce and let people tuck in and build.
